Our Practice

While serving in the military, Dr. Harris discovered a need for podiatry services to be provided to elderly and disabled patients who were unable to travel to their doctor’s offices. He started seeing patients at their homes on the weekends while in the Navy. Upon separation from the Navy, he established a house call practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Harris enjoys working with homebound patients, but received requests for office services as well. In 2019 Dr. Harris opened a physical clinic location in the Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville. While house calls are still provided, the clinic allows for patients to be seen on short notice, usually the same day. The clinic is fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, and has minor surgical capabilities. Dr. Harris has hospital privileges at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and can provide advanced care such as hospitalization and surgery. Dr. Harris is certified by the American Board and Foot and Ankle Surgery, which is the most rigorous podiatry certification to obtain. Whether care is provided in the home or the office, the practice philosophy is to provide personal, attentive care at a reasonable cost, without unnecessary expense.
